@-MAILING BIS REPETITA NON PLACET How many times should you send out a mailing? Well, as the Romans said: twice repeated is not enough. You can go for occasional mailings, at no fixed intervals. Each time you have a promotion or a special newsbulletin, you can send out a mailing. But even if you do so, do it more often than once or twice a year. People forget easily, and you cannot expect to remain top-of-mind if the interval is too long. A better way is a periodical newsletter. Every one or two months, you send a mailing, in the same lay-out and colours, to your subscribers. There is only one rule here: make sure you have something to tell. If not, the unsubscriptions will sky-rocket. And of course, the response will grind to a halt. A lot of work, you think? Not really. Just look here to see how easily you can send a regular newsletter. |
